The December 2015 Livingston Survey published on December 10, 2015 contains, among its various forecasts, a S&P500 forecast. It shows the following price forecast for the dates shown:
Dec. 31, 2015 2090.0
June 30, 2016 2120.0
Dec. 31, 2016 2184.9
Dec. 29, 2017 2298.0
These figures represent the median value across the 25 forecasters on the survey’s panel.

I post various economic forecasts because I believe they should be carefully monitored. However, as those familiar with this blog are aware, I do not agree with many of the consensus estimates and much of the commentary in these forecast surveys.
